Technical Support
Solar Depot has a team of engineers to assist
in the design and sizing of PV power systems
for both grid-tied and off-grid systems, including
commercial and residential applications. We
offer assembly of power panels in-house. We
also provide single-line drawings for permit
and design needs with each system that we
sell, and when required we can provide more
detailed engineering drawings. Our engineers
are on-hand to offer technical support and
troubleshooting assistance when you need it. |

Training Workshops
Solar Depot offers a series
of one-day, intensive training workshops on
solar for contractors and sales staff. We
offer various workshops focused on each of
the solar technologies we sell—solar electric,
solar water heating, and solar pool heating.
We have trained over 3,000 contractors in
the state of California on solar in the
past decade, many of whom have gone on
to be very successful in the industry.
We have a comprehensive training binder available
to those who attend our workshops. This provides
all the basics to get into the solar business.
It covers the basics on system sizing and
design, the requirements to qualify for the
incentives (rebates and tax credit), includes
samples of the schematics we provide for building
permits, and all application forms for the
rebate and for final inspection by the utility.

Logistics
Support
Solar Depot currently maintains three full
service locations in California: Petaluma,
Sacramento, and Corona. Each of these locations
has stocked warehouses and delivery trucks.
We offer delivery of complete systems to your
jobsite when you are ready to install, which
alleviates the need for you to warehouse the
product and have a delivery truck.

& Advertising Support
Solar Depot has color brochures (commercial and
residential) and customized inserts (with your company
name and number) which explain in detail the State’s
cash rebate and Federal tax credit, the rules for
net-metering, and the new electric rate structure.

Distribution
of Sales Leads
Solar Depot advertises on several leading radio
stations in three major metropolitan markets in
California; the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Los
Angeles area. These leads are distributed to Solar
Depot’s top dealers with the best sales performance.
Solar Depot also generates leads from several other
sources such as printed media, our
*website, and
drive-by traffic on Highway 101 where we have a
large sign with our phone number. These leads are
all distributed to our network of authorized dealers.

Document Support
Solar Depot has developed an extensive archive of
technical documents including product data sheets
in the Documents
page in the dealer section of our website. This
page also provides most of the marketing materials
we offer in digital format as PDF files for email
attachments.
Exhibits
& Demo Equipment
We can help you promote your company at an upcoming
trade show or local festival. Solar Depot has several
convention trade show booths, a mobile PV truck
demo, mobile PV arrays and inverters with battery
banks, table and chairs, and system installation
pictures available for dealers to reserve for shows
and events.
